Richardson, Texas, – July 15, 2006 – NetPower Technologies, a high-performance DC-DC converter supplier, signed a distribution agreement with PowerGate, LLC for the North American territory. PowerGate is a young power distributor headquartered in Santa Clara California, founded by industry veterans, Paul Christiansen and Ed Kramer.
“We believe Paul and Ed have created another successful power distributor that will help us increase our market penetration,” said Yimin Jiang, NetPower’s President. “We are looking to grow with them as they increase their customer base, allowing us to continue expanding our presence within the power industry.”
Currently, PowerGate is focused on the California territory. Their ultimate goal is to provide complete coverage across the United States, starting with their expansion to the New England market. PowerGate’s line card consists of manufacturers whose products, taken collectively, provide a complete solution for today’s power systems.
